Meet the Owners
Dr Anita Sharma and Dr Angela Kapoor completed their Doctor of Dental Surgery at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia over 30 years ago . After Associating at various offices, the sisters started working together in 2009 after purchasing a practice. They relocated to Bayview Village Shopping Centre in North York in 2013 to create a Boutique Style of dental practice with an emphasis on personalized care in a spa-like environment. In January 2024 they relocated to a larger, more modern space within Bayview Village to accommodate their growing practice. As partners and sisters, Drs Sharma and Kapoor are committed to providing the DSK Patients with a high quality of dental care in a calm, relaxed environment. They continue to provide mentorship and training to their exceptional team of Dentists, Hygienists, Patient Coordinators, and Dental Assistants.
Dr. Ilana Silber
Dr. Ilana Silber earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Toronto in 2012, and completed a one year General Practice Residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey. During her residency, Dr. Silber gained advanced dental training in the treatment of patients with complex multi-disciplinary needs and was awarded Resident of the Year.Dr. Silber enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is committed to ensuring the highest level of patient care. She takes pride in making her patients feel relaxed and comfortable and enjoys working with children and adults of all ages.
In her spare time, Dr. Silber enjoys remaining active through running and fitness. She loves to travel and enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 kids.
Dr. Elizabeth Cott
Dr. Elizabeth Cott earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry in London, Ontario. Dr. Cott enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is passionate about providing excellent patient care combined with quality dentistry. Her compassion and honesty will put each patient at ease in her dental chair.
In her spare time, Dr. Cott enjoys staying active through running. When she is not with patients she enjoys travelling the world and spending time with her husband and 2 young kids.
Dr. Arezou Mohajer
Dr. Arezou Mohajer earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Toronto. Her approach to dentistry is based on individualized and compassionate care. She believes that a healthy mouth is an integral part of a healthy body. Dr. Mohajer is experienced in various aspects of dentistry including Invisalign.
She strives to keep herself up to date with the latest science and trends in Dentistry by reading the latest research and attending various continuing education courses and seminars.
Dr. Christopher Dawoud
Dr. Christopher Dawoud completed his undergraduate degree in Medical Sciences at Western University before leaving to New York City to study dentistry at NYU College of Dentistry. During his time at NYUCD, he accomplished an honours degree in Orofacial pain and completed a post-graduate General Practice Residency at New York Presbyterian - Columbia University, where he also served as Chief Resident. During those two years, he received additional training in general dentistry and the management of medically compromised and special needs patients, with particular emphasis on surgical procedures. Throughout his dental training, he found ways to incorporate his love for community service, outreach, and treating those who have difficulty finding good, quality care.
Dr. Dawoud enjoys all aspects of dentistry and provides high-quality care in a calm and comfortable environment. He incorporates digital technology to provide comprehensive, comfortable, and current dental care for all his patients.
Ashley
Office Manager
Ashley’s enthusiasm and drive for patient care makes her an ideal fit to our team. Ashley is from Barrie, where she completed her level II dental assisting training in 2004. Ashley started her career as a chair side assistant, then to a treatment coordinator, then progressing to office manager. Ashley excels in leadership and team building and she has a genuine passion that all patients receive the best quality of care there is. Still living in Barrie, Ashley is enjoying the country life, with her family!
Alex
Dental Hygienist
Alex became a DSK Dental Team member in 2010 and has become DSK ‘s hygienist sweetheart. Alex’s dedication to oral health care and her passion for continuing education makes her outstanding at her profession. With Alex’s gentle touch and endearing smile, she has every patient feeling relaxed and inspired to floss daily!
Alex enjoys spending time travelling and recently taken an interest in baking, and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Sharon
After obtaining her Honours BSc in Human Biology and Psychology, Sharon went on to complete her Dental Hygiene Diploma at George Brown College. Sharon is an experienced, dedicated team member whose Science and Biology background enhances her patient care. Sharon is fluent in both English and Korean, and loves spending her free time with her family
Clarisse
Clarisse believes that, "a healthy smile is a healthy life." Clarisse loves educating her patients on ways to improve their oral health for a better and lasting smile.Clarisse is fluent in both English and Tagalog. In her spare time she loves travelling, spending time with her dog and loved ones, trying new food, boxing and going to the gym.
Jeremy
Jeremy has been working as a hygienist for DSK since the summer of 2021. Jeremy prides himself on being a gentle, caring, and approachable hygienist and loves educating and discussing dental health with all his patients. In his free time, he enjoys pursuing his love for animal rescue, cooking, technology and bouldering.
Carol
Treatment Coordinator
Carol has many years of experience in the dental industry. A mother of three who takes pleasure in travelling the world. Carol will happily assist you to understand recommended treatment plans and coordinate with your insurance provider. Her passion, humour and charm will ensure you have a sensational dental care visit.
Loydi
Patient Care Coordinator
Loydi joined the DSK family in 2022 as our Patient Care and Hygiene Coordinator. As a certified and experienced dental assistant for over 15 years, her skills and knowledge in both clinical and administrative have helped her with patient care as well as patient education. Patients and the team appreciate her calm and caring nature. Loydi loves new challenges, spending time with her family and enjoys traveling.
Maria
Maria joined our DSK Team the beginning of 2024. Maria's expertise and dedication will be invaluable in helping us provide excellent care to our patients. Maria is a homebody and loves to spend time with friends and family. She loves travelling any chance she can get.
Julie
Clinical Coordinator/Dental Assistant
Julie joined the DSK Dental Care Team in 2011 as a dedicated, enthusiastic, caring Dental Assistant. She has a gift for assisting the Dentists and putting everyone at ease. Julie will always find a way to brighten everyone’s day. In her free time, Julie loves flowers, gardening, nature and photography.
